SuperMAG
SuperMAG is a facility under the USA National Science Foundation. SuperMAG has a steering committee to ensure it works in the best interest of funding agencies, worldwide collaborators, the scientific community and the general public. SuperMAG collaborates with essentially the entire world and includes data from ~600 ground based stations. It currently has some 4000 registered users who utilize the service to produce some 200 peer reviewed papers per year.
The purpose of SuperMAG it to help scientists, teachers, students and the general public have easy access to measurements of the Earth's magnetic field.
